Mission

The purpose of the MSS is:

•           To encourage and support medical student involvement in the WVSMA;

•           To represent interests of medical students at all levels of organized medicine;

•           To promote healthcare programs and policies that support the MSS vision in WV communities;

•           To develop leadership and advocacy skills in medical students.

Vision

We envisage a West Virginia medical environment that is accessible, patient-focused, physician-led, and evidence-based working in collaboration with local, state, and federal governments.
