Be sure that you have strictly adhered to all of the manuscript guidelines before submitting your manuscript
The Publications Committee will be able to make a decision on a manuscript when at least three peer reviews have been submitted. The peer review process may take as long as 3 to 12 months for completion. The Publications Committee updates all authors on a monthly basis, as peer reviewers are reminded to review as often as every two weeks.

Since 1906, the West Virginia State Medical Association (WVSMA) has published the West Virginia Medical Journal (WV MED J), a clinical, peer-reviewed medical journal. The WV MED J strives to publish clinical articles of interest and within the understanding of physicians in every area of practice.
Submissions to the WV MED J are processed online through Scholastica peer-review software.
